Soroban Portal Fee Schedule

This is an English reference translation. Only the Japanese version is legally binding. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.

All amounts are monthly and include tax. Fees and subscriptions are per school.

Rules for all items

The amount of a higher tier applies only to the number above that tier's start. Teachers are counted in the same way as students.
When numbers go down: reducing a number or removing an add-on during a billing period does not reduce the fee for that period. The change applies from the next renewal date.
No additional fee is charged for increases within the numbers already paid for in the same billing period.
After a cancellation takes effect or while use is suspended because of unpaid fees, a Subscriber using more than the free range cannot use the features for check-in and check-out records, communication with parents and guardians, and grade records (if we provide them) until it deletes withdrawn students so that the roster is within the free range, or pays again. After a cancellation takes effect, the features of the Portal other than add-ons and these features (including viewing the roster, withdrawing students, deleting withdrawn students and the billing and cancellation page) remain available. A Subscriber within the free range may continue to use the features of the Portal other than add-ons. However, Article 5, Paragraph 2 of the Terms of Use applies while any fee remains unpaid.
No separate payment is needed when adding.
If usage is within the free range and no add-ons are added, the monthly fee from the next renewal date onward is ¥0 and the monthly subscription continues. To cancel, follow Article 6 of the Terms of Use.

An increase during a billing period is prorated by the number of days from the start of use to the day before the next renewal date (by calendar date in Japan Standard Time), and is charged together with the monthly fee on the next renewal date.
Add-ons added for a student are removed when the student is withdrawn. Each school may have up to 1,000 enrolled students.
Withdrawing a student does not reduce the number of roster students; to reduce it, delete withdrawn students.
Soroban app accounts have the same features as the regular plan of ¥980 per account per month (including tax).

The fee is not prorated. Whatever day the add-on is added, ¥500 for that billing period is charged together with the monthly fee on the next renewal date.
After the add-on is added, it may take a little time before worksheets can be created.
Even after the add-on is removed, worksheets can be created until the day before the next renewal date.
Each school can create worksheets up to 1,000 times in the most recent 30 days.
